We all know by know Claire is really the daughter of the Nathan Petrelli. Nathan for almost all of the first season was this slightly evil, sly, deceptive guy who was the opposite of his good guy brother Peter Petrelli.
Peter was almost too nice. Nathan was a politician in New York running for office.
Claire met her biological family in Season One although briefly. I wonder whether Claire will meet up with Nathan again some time in the future.
I reckon Claire and Nathan will probably have to meet sometime towards the end of the season.
Nathan is never going to be father of the year to Claire but he is starting to warm to her slightly.
The biggest insight about Nathan was given by his Mum when she told him that underneath that gruff exterior there is a nice guy.
Even though Noah Bennett or HRG is gone physically he will not be forgotten especially by Claire. Claire will always be influenced by her dad. Even though Claire knows he had a twisted way of protecting her Claire has learnt to appreciate it. Claire was really really sad when Mr Bennett was killed cause after fighting with her dad for all those years and not knowing his secrets and the reasons for his strange behaviour Claire was really learning to love her Dad again. And she finally found out that he was working for some bad people and really was not a paper salesman. We’ll see his influence in way that Claire acts and things she does for the rest of the problems she gets in with the other heroes.
In Season 2 of Heroes we slowly see “Claire Bennet” growing up and maturing as a stunnng young woman. She’s always been superfine but now with the continuing escalating dramas she is confronting her father and all the situations that come up. It really seems that her confrontation with Elle with kind of a turning point for Claire. She had to walk past Elle as she was being released and she didn’t like it one bit. Showing her new toughness she sucked it up. Since HRG aka Mr Bennett died Claire has gone through some real upheaval but she is really growing up. I reckon the storylines of the show for Claire have kind of been leading up to this key point where she has to leave her father behind and really take on this slightly shadowy world mostly on her own.
Claire Bennett vs Elle Bishop is gonna be one of the best confrontations for the rest of the lifetime of Heroes …

They are right now enemies but it’s obvious that Claire and Elle are gonna find their way to be friends. The writers will put some kind of enemy in their path who they both must defeat together. And besides Claire is so good and Elle pretty bad. although Elle does have some redeeming qualities somewhere deep down. Claire will be with West and Elle will find Peter and that will bring these Heroes together. If there’s a Heroes Season 3 ( hope there is !) I can see Claire and Elle being really close girlfriends amidst all the trouble they swerve and the baddies they’ve gotta fight.

The show is Heroes the focus Claire Bennett and Elle. Both on opposite sides of the fence. Claire is the pretty nice blonde cheerleader and Elle is the sassy killing machine daughter of head of The Company Bob. Elle has just gone down the wrong track a little bit but she could turn out to be OK. Maybe somehow after a confrontation if they find a reason they have to be on the same side Claire and Elle could get along and that would be cool ! We all know that Claire Bennett is played by Hayden Panettiere. You might not know Elle is played by Kristen Bell who used to play the kind of cute Veronica Mars on Veronica Mars.
I think that the writers of Heroes will at least tease us with a glimpse or a hint that Elle maybe isn’t so bad underneath it all. I mean her Dad subjected her to that electroshock treatment or whatever it was to get her the powers she’s got. We saw after the confrontation with Claire, West and Mr Bennett against Elle and Bob that Elle was thinking about what Mr Bennett told her. That her dad forced her to undergo all those brutal tests when she was just a kid.
Cheerleaders are great ! Us Guys want to be with them and the girls want to be them. Claire Bennett is introduced as the indestructible cheerleader living in small town of Odessa, Texas. She’s just trying to be a regular teen girl living the typical existence for a teenage girl. That’s dating, partying, shopping, hanging out with her friends. She’s blonde and really pretty so of course she super popular. She tries to renew her friendsgip with Zac, a geek who used to be her friend when they were much younger. He wants nothing to do with her cause now she’s cool and he’s not. But Claire desperately wants to be friends with Zac. That’s so unusual usually the pretty girls are supposed to ditch their old friends who aren’t so cool. This is what makes Claire Bennett so special.

Also she’s got a superpower, she indestructible ! She gets Zac to film her falling off the top of some old rundown structure just so she can share it with someone.
